IND vs ENG U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Final: In the final of the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup, India won the tournament by defeating England by seven wickets. Team India has created history by winning the first edition of this World Cup. Batting first, England had set a target of 69 runs in front of India and Team India achieved it by losing three wickets.

What happened in the first innings?

India Recovered from bad start

Captain Shefali was dismissed for 15 runs in the third over of the Indian innings. Shweta Sehrawat was also dismissed after scoring five runs in the very next over. Within 20 runs, India had lost the wickets of two of its most important batsmen. Shweta is the highest run-scorer in this tournament, while Shefali is third.

The Indian team was under pressure after the fall of two quick wickets, but the pair of Saumya Tiwary and Gongdi Trisha stitched a fine partnership. Both of them shared a 46-run partnership for the third wicket. However, Gongadi Trisha got out just before India’s victory. He scored 24 runs in 29 balls. In the end Soumya Tiwari finished the match. He scored an unbeaten 24 off 37 balls. Hannah Baker, Grace Scrivens and Alexa Stonehouse took one wicket each for England.

Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is out of the team for the next 6 months. It is not possible for him to play in the World Cup 2023 also, because by the time he returns, the team will be almost formed.

Will be laterLooking at these things, the chances of Pant playing cricket for the next 6 months are slim to none.  

Due to this, Rishabh Pant will also stay away from the ICC Cricket World Cup to be held in October-November, because even if he returns, it will be too late.He had a car accident in Roorkee, in which he had a lot of wounds on his body and had a lot of knee problem, which is currently being treated at Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
