In a separate development, the official reported that border patrol agents seized more than two kilograms of opium dropped by another Pakistani drone in the Tarn Taran district.

During a search operation conducted jointly by the BSF and the Punjab Police, the damaged drone was discovered in a field adjacent to the Rajatal-Bharopal-Daoke tri-junction, he said.

The recovered quadcopter was a DJI Matrice 300RTK model, according to the official.

Amritpal Singh and his supporters have stated that they will cease their protest once Toofan Singh is released from jail.
