										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission knows no limits! In another big step forward, the Pragyan robot came up with a new way to see the Moon: in a 3D effect. Using anaglyph technology, the way to see things on the moon&#8217;s surface in three dimensions.</p>
<p>With this method, stereo or multiple views of an object are used to create a 3D effect. This gives a more realistic view of the item. The Indian Space Research Organisation&#8217;s (ISRO) Laboratory for Electro-Optical Systems (LEOS) made a technology called NavCam that the rover used to make these anaglyph pictures.</p>
<p>Using both left and right pictures and then putting them in different color channels gives the Moon a 3D look in this method.</p>

<p>&#8220;The picture on the left is in the red channel, while the picture on the right is in the blue and green channels, making cyan. &#8220;The stereo effect, which gives the impression of three dimensions, is caused by the difference in perspective between these two images,&#8221; ISRO wrote on X (which used to be Twitter).</p>

<p>In addition to being a visual treat, the latest imaging technology will let experts learn more about things on Earth than ever before.</p>

<p>ISRO also suggested using red and cyan-colored 3D glasses to fully see the depth and detail of these pictures. Both of the glasses&#8217; colors will block out the red and cyan channels, making it possible for the picture to be seen in three dimensions.</p>
<p>ISRO&#8217;s Space Applications Centre (SAC) is in charge of putting the data for these pictures together.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Several hours after the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) published the first image of the Vikram lander resting on the moon, the navigation cameras of the Pragyan rover captured a series of images of the lander&#8217;s companion. These images were captured by the Indian space agency today at 11 a.m., when the rover had traveled approximately 15 meters.</p>
<p>ISRO accompanied the visuals with the following text in a social media post on platform X: &#8220;India&#8217;s Majesty knows no bounds! Once more, fellow traveler Pragyan takes a Snap of Vikram! This iconic photograph was shot today around 11 a.m. IST from approximately 15 meters away.&#8221;</p>

<p>At ISRO&#8217;s Space Applications Centre in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the NavCam data is processed.</p>
<p>The Pragyan rover&#8217;s front sections are equipped with two navigation cameras. It was created by Laboratory for Electro-Optical Systems (LEOS) and is reportedly one of the finest cameras placed on the moon.</p>
<p>LEOS, one of the essential divisions of ISRO, is responsible for the design, development, and production of Attitude Sensors for all LEO, GEO, and interplanetary missions, as well as the development and delivery of Optical Systems for remote sensing and meteorological payloads.</p>
<h2>Where is the Chandrayaan 3&#8217;s Pragyan rover presently?</h2>
<p>ISRO has provided the coordinates of the Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft alongside the image. It is located at 69.373 S and 32.319 E, which is close to the 4 km x 2.4 km landing site at 69.367621 S and 32.348126 E that was planned by the Indian space agency.</p>
<h2>Vikram lander&#8217;s probes seen in the image</h2>
<p>The image depicts Chandra&#8217;s Surface Thermo-physical Experiment (ChaSTE) probe and the Instrument for Lunar Seismic Activity (ILSA) probe, both of which were deployed on the lunar surface by the Vikram lander.</p>
<p>The ILSA sensor is intended to measure seismic activity around the landing site, revealing the composition of the lunar crust and mantle.</p>
<p>In contrast, ChaSTE is tasked with measuring the thermal properties of the lunar surface in the vicinity of the polar regions. Through the use of the thermal sensor, ISRO has already revealed the temperature profile of the moon, revealing a significant temperature difference between the surface (approximately 55 degrees Celsius) and a depth of 8 centimeters (-10 degrees Celsius).</p>

<p>Vikram lander is also equipped with LASER Retroreflector Array (LRA) and Radio Anatomy of Moon Bound Hypersensitive ionosphere and Atmosphere (RAMBHA) to measure the near-surface plasma (ions and electrons) density and its variations over time.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Telemetry, Tracking and Command Centre (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru&#8217;s Peenya industrial area early Saturday morning to congratulate the scientists on the successful landing of the Vikram spacecraft on the Moon&#8217;s surface.</p>
<p>During his visit, the prime minister is anticipated to address the scientists involved in the ambitious unmanned lunar mission and discuss ISRO&#8217;s future endeavors.</p>
<p>A traffic advisory has already been issued for the highways leading to the ISRO facility. Between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., north Bengaluru roads leading to the facility are restricted, while east and central Bengaluru roads leading to HAL airport are restricted.</p>
<p>After an eventful 40-day voyage, the lander module made a successful soft landing on the lunar surface on August 23, as planned, making India the fourth nation to accomplish such a feat and the first to land on the unexplored south pole of the moon.</p>
<p>PM Modi joined from Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was attending the BRICS summit, during the touchdown of the Vikram spacecraft. During his virtual address, he stated, &#8220;When we witness such historic events, we feel tremendous pride. This is the dawn of India&#8217;s new era.&#8221;</p>
<p>The success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, which was launched on July 14 from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, by a Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM3) missile, represents another breakthrough in ISRO&#8217;s space endeavors. It included a propulsion module and a landing module.</p>

<p>The lander module consisted of a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan. Following a soft touchdown, the rover&#8217;s payload will conduct chemical analysis of the lunar surface on the ground. The rover and lander payloads are capable of conducting investigations there.</p>
<p>Wednesday marked the first moonwalk for the Pragyan rover, which descended from the Vikram lander to begin its mission. Using a two-segment slope, the rover rolled down onto the lunar surface without incident. The activities of the rover, which was equipped with a solar panel for power generation, were documented in multiple videos shared by ISRO later.</p>
<p>After the landing, the mission will continue for one lunar day, which is roughly equivalent to 14 Earth days.</p>

<p>Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-up mission to the Indian space agency&#8217;s second lunar mission, with the objective of demonstrating secure landing and roving capabilities on the moon&#8217;s surface.</p>
<p>Throughout its voyage, the Landing Imager Camera attached to the Vikram lander transmitted multiple images and video clips of the Moon from various angles. ISRO released a closer glimpse at the unexplored southern regions of the moon following the soft landing.</p>
