										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The water level of the river Yamuna has been stable for the past hour after rising continuously for four days. Thursday at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., the Yamuna&#8217;s water level was 208.62 metres.</p>
<p>At 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Yamuna water levels surpassed the 45-year-old record, reaching 208.48 metres. The officials had predicted that the water levels would continue to rise.</p>
<p>The government of Delhi has ordered all schools, colleges, and non-essential government offices to close until Sunday.</p>

<p>Due to the rising river level, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has temporarily closed the entrance and egress to the Yamuna Bank Blue Line station. However, according to the metro agency, the interchange facility is available and Blue Line services are operating normally.</p>
<p>Majnu Ka Tila, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Monastery Market, Geeta Colony, and multiple sections of Ring Road near Kashmere Gate were flooded due to excessive rainfall.</p>
<p>The greatest bus terminal in the nation&#8217;s capital, the Kashmere Gate Bus Terminal, has been flooded, causing the suspension of bus service.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Delhi Traffic Advisory:</strong> The Delhi Traffic Police issued a warning on Thursday due to the Yamuna&#8217;s persistently rising water level, which has severely impacted the city&#8217;s traffic flow. The advisory issued by the city&#8217;s Traffic Police advises commuters to avoid certain routes due to flooding and waterlogging. Due to waterlogging in various sections of the city, there is currently a massive traffic jam in the Sarai Kale Khan neighborhood.</p>
<p>Residents have been advised to avoid Mahatma Gandhi Marg between IP Flyover and Chandgi Ram Akhara, Mahatma Gandhi Marg between Kalighat Mandir and Delhi Secretariat, and Outer Ring Road between Wazirabad Bridge and Chandgi Ram Akhara.</p>
<p>In order to regulate traffic, the movement of commercial vehicles has been regulated in the nation&#8217;s capital. According to the advisory, non-destination commercial vehicles will be prohibited from entering Delhi. They will be rerouted onto the Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressways. Commercial vehicles will not be permitted between Mukarba Chowk and Wazirabad Bridge in order to regulate traffic flow.</p>
<p>Commercial vehicles will be diverted away from Sarai Kale Khan, and none will be permitted between Sarai Kale Khan and IP Flyover, according to the advisory. Additionally, commercial vehicles will be rerouted from the Ghazipur border and Akshardham to the DND.</p>
