“On 11 June, IndiGo A321-252NX (Neo) VT-IMG was engaged in a tail strike while landing at Delhi while operating flight 6E-6183 Kolkata-Delhi. The flight was uneventful until it approached Delhi for landing. During the approach to runway 27, the crew sensed they floated longer than usual and initiated a go-around, according to the statement.

“During the go-around maneuver, the tail section of the aircraft likely contacted the runway surface and sustained damage.” The flight crew has been de-rostered pending an investigation, according to DGCA.

IndiGo Flight Enters Pakistan Airspace

On its way from Amritsar to Ahmedabad on Saturday of last week, an IndiGo Airlines flight was forced to penetrate Pakistani airspace for a brief period to avoid bad weather. Friday at approximately 7:56 a.m., flight number 6E 308 from IGI Airport reportedly experienced an incident.

IndiGo described the incident as follows: “A passenger on flight 6E 308 from Delhi to Bengaluru attempted to open the emergency exit while intoxicated.”

“Upon observing this violation, the personnel alerted the captain, and the passenger was warned as necessary. There was no compromise to the flight’s safety, according to the airlines.
