]]> India reports first two H3N2 flu deaths in Haryana and Karnataka amid seasonal flu epidemic issued a statement. A total of 3,038 laboratory-confirmed cases of various influenza subtypes, including H3N2, have been reported in India, the Ministry of Health said.

Here are 10 things the government has announced:

1. Seasonal influenza is an acute respiratory infection caused by the influenza virus that affects the world.

2. India experiences two seasonal flu peaks each year.
