On Thursday afternoon, after special prayers, the rocks were presented to the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. 51 vedic teachers also worshipped the rocks, according to officials.

According to these sources, Mahant Tapeshwar Das of the Janaki Mandir in Nepal presented these rocks to Champat Rai, general secretary of the Ram Temple Trust.The stone idol of Lord Ram’s ‘baalroop’ (child form) will be placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, which is expected to be completed by January of next year.

Rajendra Singh Pankaj, national secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, departed Nepal’s Mustang district on January 25 with two sacred rocks.
