Mahakumbh Mela Adhikari Vijay Kiran Anand confirmed the news, stating that 23 projects in the city have been approved by the state government, which has also disbursed the initial portion of the funds.

Among the approved development projects are riverfront roads, the enlargement of a section near SRN Hospital, and the construction of a concrete culvert over a drain in Mansaita.

The Irrigation Department has been allotted the utmost budget for eight projects, including the construction of riverfront roads.

On the left bank of the Yamuna, a 900-meter slope pitching and enlargement has received funding of 2.5 crore. For the interlocking construction between Nagvasuki Temple and Dashashwamedh Ghat Ganga trisection to prevent erosion, the first installment of more than 4.74 billion out of the required 18.95 billion has been released.

Similarly, approximately 9.88 crore out of the required 39.51 crore has been allocated for the interlocking work on the 2,700-meter segment between Kali Trisection and Chhatnag.

On a 3,800-meter stretch between Amitabh Bachchan Pulia and Nagvasuki Connect Road, 61.44 lakh has been released out of the required 15.36 crore for interlocking works.

Over 6.8 crore out of the required 27.25 crore has been allocated for the 1350-meter interlocking between Old GT Road and Garib Das Ashram, and over 5.8 crore for the interlocking between Daraganj Trisection and Shastri Bridge.

In addition, approximately 6.1 crore out of 24.3 crore allocated for a four-kilometer road from Rasulabad Ghat to Gangeshwar Mahadev has been released.

Two initiatives have also been approved for the Public Works Department and the UP Bridge Corporation. The expansion of the Mansaita sewer bridge on the Phaphamau-Sahso-Hanumanganj road has been approved for 20.99 crore, of which 5.25 crore has been released. Similarly, 13.92 crore has been approved for the enlargement of the ROB connecting platforms 1 through 4 at the Phaphamau railway station; 3.48 crore has been released in the first tranche.

The budget for thirteen roads managed by the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) also exceeds 166 crore. In the initial payment, they received 44,72 crore.

Over 1.80 crore has been disbursed of the 3.60 crore allocated for the 380-meter road from SRN Hospital to Mahatma Gandhi Marg.

From ADA Mode in Naini to ADA Colony, a 674-meter road has received 2.84 billion rupees out of a total of 5.68 billion rupees.

From ADA Colony in Naini to Arail Ghat, 5.23 crore were disbursed out of 10.45 crore that had been approved.

From the Old Yamuna bridge to the Leprosy Mission, an 815-meter road was allocated 7.89 million, of which 3.95 million was released.

The 2200-meter road from Shantipuram Sector 1 to Bela Cachar was allotted 4.40 million, of which 2.20 million was disbursed.

The ED alleged that Sisodia used SIM cards and made purchases under the names of others. The ED stated that he purchased phones on Flipkart under the name of a third party without making payment, while destroying his own device.

The ED stated that the proceeds of the crime amounted to more than 292 crore and that in order to disclose the entire mode of operation, it would need to confront other individuals whom it has already summoned. The ED stated that Sisodia’s statement differed from those of other individuals questioned in connection with the case.

The CBI apprehended Sisodia in the liquor case on February 26. As he was in CBI custody, the ED routinely questioned him. Wednesday, the ED apprehended Sisodia in connection with an alleged liquor scam involving money laundering.

Sisodia’s attorney, Dayan Krishnan, opposed the 10-day appeal of the ED and argued that the policy was authorised by the then-L-G after Sisodia and others drafted it. Sisodia’s attorney asked, “Where did the money go?” “Money laundering requires an examination of concealment, possession, and use. It must be traced back to the person. No money has been traced back to me. We are discussing a premier investigation firm. Why have they been unable to attribute a single cent to me?”

India and Australia signalled their intent to increase cooperation in defence, trade, and professional mobility on Friday in NEW DELHI, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised concerns about recent assaults on temples with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese.

After participating in the first annual India-Australia Summit, Modi and Albanese announced that the two countries were advancing with a comprehensive economic cooperation agreement (CECA) to upgrade an interim trade deal concluded last year and a migration and mobility pact that will benefit students and professionals.

During a joint media interaction following their discussions, Modi described security cooperation as a crucial pillar of the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership and stated that the two sides discussed maritime security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region and ways to enhance bilateral security and defence cooperation.

Albanese stated that both parties are committed to strengthening the defence and security partnership in order to resolve shared challenges and advance an open, stable, and prosperous Indo-Pacific. Modi stated that he conveyed India’s concern regarding recent assaults on Australian temples.

In recent weeks, the Indian side has repeatedly raised this issue with the Australian government in response to incidents involving pro-Khalistan groups.

“It is concerning that there have been frequent reports of attacks on temples in Australia over the past few weeks. It is only natural that such news would cause great concern and distress in India,” Modi said in Hindi.

“I communicated our views and concerns to Prime Minister Albanese. He has assured me that the Indian community’s safety is a top priority for him. Our teams will remain in regular contact and cooperate as necessary regarding this matter, he added.

Albanese, who will return to India in September for the G20 Summit, has also extended an invitation to Modi to attend the Quad Leaders Summit in Australia in May.

Three agreements on cooperation in athletics, audio-visual co-production, and the mandate for an India-Australia solar task force were also signed. Albanese stated that the ECTA eliminated tariffs on more than 85 percent of Australian exports to India, thereby benefiting consumers and providing affordable inputs to industry, and he is optimistic that the CECA will be finalised this year.

“We also agreed to conclude our ambitious CECA as quickly as possible, and I am optimistic that we will be able to do so this year. This transformative agreement will realise the full potential of the bilateral economic relationship, creating new employment opportunities and raising the standard of living for the people of both Australia and India, according to Albanese.

The two parties have also finalised a mechanism for mutual recognition of educational credentials, which will benefit students. “Progress is being made on a mobility agreement. This will benefit pupils, workers, and professionals, as stated by Modi.

The FIR contends that some Patna residents were appointed as substitutes for Group-D positions in the Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Hajipur railway zones. In exchange, it is alleged that these individuals conveyed land ownership to Mr. Yadav’s family members and a company that was subsequently acquired by the family.
