										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mumbai got a lot of rain on Thursday, the first time in almost a month that the rainy season had stopped. A story in Mint said that the subways in Andheri and Malad were still closed to traffic. On Friday, clouds and lightning are likely to hit the city. At the same time, though, the rain should get lighter after 36 hours. Before, on September 7 and 8, the India Meteorological Department sent out a yellow alert for Mumbai, Palghar, and Thane.</p>
<p>It has been raining in Mumbai again, almost a month after a break. It rained 21.2 mm at the IMD Colaba observatory and 36.7 mm at the Santacruz observatory around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.</p>
<p>On social media, people shared videos of the heavy rain in Mumbai. &#8220;Damn!&#8221; someone wrote after sharing a video of rain in the city. It&#8217;s raining again in Mumbai.&#8221;</p>

<p>In other news, parts of Delhi got a lot of rain on Thursday after a long stretch of hot weather. Burari, Kanjhawala, Rohini, Badili, Mundaka, Pashchim Vihar, Jafarpur, Nazafgarh, NCR (Bahadurgarh), Farukhnagar, and Rewari (Haryana) are all places that the weather service says will get mild to heavy rain.</p>

<p>It is also raining hard in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Kerala, among other places in the country. It rained a lot in Odisha, according to a post on X by the IMD in Hindi. Nabarangpur had 11 cm and Semiliguda had 16 cm. Watch out during the rainy season and make sure everyone else is safe too.</p>

<p>It also said, &#8220;The state of Chhattisgarh saw heavy to very heavy rain.&#8221; In Kondagaon, it has rained 12 cm, and in Bakavand, 10.4 cm. Watch out during the rainy season and make sure everyone else is safe too.</p>

<p>On Tuesday evening in Bhubaneshwar, President Murmu will interact with a group of medical students sponsored by the &#8216;Atut-Bandhan&#8217; family and set the foundation stone for a new building block of Raj Bhavan Odisha, according to a statement.</p>
<p>Wednesday, according to an official statement, the President will speak at the closing ceremony of the High Court of Orissa&#8217;s 75th anniversary celebrations in Cuttack. On the same day, she will also speak at the annual event of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and witness the convocation of National Law University Odisha in Cuttack.</p>
<p>On July 27, President Murmu will interact with Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) at Odisha&#8217;s Raj Bhawan.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully tested the New Generation Ballistic Missile Agni Prime from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha on Wednesday.</p>
<p>The test flight was accomplished on the coast of Odisha at approximately 7:30 p.m. The flight test effectively demonstrated the missile&#8217;s objectives.</p>
<p>After performing well in three development trials, the Agni Prime missile passed its first pre-induction night launch with flying colors. The test flight validated the system&#8217;s precision and dependability. The successful test flight of the missile has paved the way for its incorporation into the military.</p>
<p>&#8220;On June 7, 2023, the First Pre-Induction Night Launch of the New Generation Ballistic Missile Agni Prime was successfully conducted off the coast of Odisha,&#8221; tweeted DRDO.</p>
<p>In addition, range instrumentation such as Radar, Telemetry, and Electro-Optical Tracking Systems were deployed in various locations. According to the statement, these tracking systems were installed on two ships at the end of their range in order to collect flight data spanning the entire trajectory of the vehicle.</p>
<p>The ballistic missile test flight was conducted in the presence of senior DRDO and Strategic Forces Command officials. On DRDO&#8217;s achievement, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and the Armed Forces for the success of the Agni Prime missile as well as its flawless performance.</p>
