Elon Musk is making many changes on Twitter. They have recently released Twitter Blue subscription feature. Apart from this, the tick is also being given in three colours. Earlier only blue tick was given. The effect of this change is visible from today. The blue tick has been removed from the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

However, this does not mean that his account is not verified. A gray color tick has now started appearing in front of his name. The tag of India government official is also visible in gray color below the account handle. This change is being done under the new verification system.

Gray tick next to Amit Shah’s account

Apart from the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, the blue tick has also been removed from the accounts of Home Ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal. Now you will see a gray color tick next to his name. The company had already made it clear that the gray tick would be given only to people associated with the government.

However, as of now the gray tick is not being given to the Chief Minister of the states. It is also not clear whether there will be a gray tick in front of the leaders of the opposition in India. The company changed its policy last week. Due to this the business account is being given gold tick.
