In a statement shared by the news agency ANI, the Uttar Pradesh director general of police (DGP) office detailed the investigative findings of the Anti-Terrorist Squad. Haider and her associate Sachin Meena were interrogated for two consecutive days by the UP ATS, with Intelligence Bureau representatives also present.

According to UP ATS, Seema’s spouse travelled to Saudi Arabia for employment in 2019. He used to send his wife between 70,000 and 80,000 Pakistani rupees per month to cover household costs. Seema was able to purchase a 12-million-Pakistani-rupee home with the assistance of her in-laws, husband, and father-in-law, as well as her extended family, whom she had saved money from various sources. However, after three months of ownership, she sold her home to travel to India to be with her partner.

Seema flew on a tourist visa from Karachi Airport to Sharjah Airport and then to Kathmandu on March 10. In the interim, Sachin Meena arrived in Gorakhpur on March 8, followed by Kathmandu two days later. There, he signed into a hotel and reserved a room. He picked up Seema from the airport, and the two of them spent seven days there.

Seema obtained a tourist visa and travelled to Dubai with her four children Farhan alias Raj (7 12 years), Farwah alias Priyanka (6 12 years), Fariha alias Pari (5 years), and Munni (3 years) two months later. The following day, she flew to Kathmandu and arrived in the Himalayan nation of Pokhra on May 11. She spent the night in a hotel with her children.

According to the UP ATS, Seema boarded a bus from Pokhra to the Khunwa frontier in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh, and entered India. She travelled to Lucknow, Agra, and Gautambuddha Nagar, where Sachin rented a room in Rabupura, on May 13. The police have stated that Seema Haider will be punished for illegally accessing Indian territory.

Notably, Haider and Meena were questioned a day after UP ATS apprehended a suspected agent of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Lucknow on charges of providing “vital information about defence establishments” to his handlers.

A small right-wing extremist group in Greater Noida has threatened to organise a demonstration if Haider is not expelled from the country within three days. The local police apprehended Seema on July 4 for illegally entering India, and Sachin was detained for providing shelter to Seema and her children. During interviews with the media, Seema stated that she has no desire to return to Pakistan.

On July 4, she was initially apprehended by local police for unlawfully entering India. Sachin was also arrested for providing sanctuary to unlawful immigrants. Seema does not have legitimate documents. It is possible that she is lying and that she entered India at the direction of the ISI. The government is investigating the entire situation.

Seema is a Pakistani national. Pakistan has not, however, issued an official statement on the subject. It spawned numerous speculations. Several reports claim that Pakistani intelligence agencies informed the Indian government that Seema entered India solely due to Sachin’s affection.
Seema’s spouse, Ghulam Haider, made an appeal for her return to Pakistan earlier in the day. Currently, Ghulam Haider resides in Saudi Arabia. He had declared his affection for Seema. During an interview with a Pakistani YouTuber, Haider voiced concern for the welfare of Seema and her children.

Seema was detained on July 4 for illegally entering India via Nepal with her four children, all of whom were under the age of seven, while Sachin was imprisoned for harboring the illegal immigrants.

“Since my spouse is a Hindu, so am I. I now feel like an Indian, Seema told media.

The couple’s romance is as captivating as a Bollywood film. During the Covid contagion, they connected through the online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).

This resulted in Seema, 30, and Sachin, 25, marrying in Nepal in March of this year. This was their initial encounter.

She then took a bus from Kathmandu to Delhi and arrived in Greater Noida on May 13 with her children, where Sachin had arranged for her to reside in rented housing without disclosing her Pakistani identity, according to officials.

Their cross-border romance ended when they were arrested on July 4 and placed in prison. While Seema was charged with entering India illegally, Sachin was charged with harboring the illegal immigrant.

Seema was granted bail yesterday and will now concentrate on completing the necessary paperwork to make her transfer to India official.
