<p>After a Cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur told reporters that India exports Rs 1,600 crore in turmeric, ANI reported.Regarding turmeric. We export turmeric worth Rs 1,600 crore now and target for Rs 8,400 crore. &#8220;A National Turmeric Board is needed to achieve this goal,&#8221; he stated.</p>
<p>BJP state president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said, &#8220;Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, MP, Odisha, Bengal, and Gujarat grow turmeric. The board will enable set up and export processing units. Delays in securing board land hindered tribal university establishment.</p>
