A six-year-old girl was hurt when a dog attacked, so the Greater Manchester Police took away 17 dogs, according to a story in the Independent. After the attack on Sunday at a house on Ackers Lane in the neighborhood of Carrington, the child is in safe condition in the hospital. After the event, the police arrested three people, but they were later let go on bail, the news source said. Four dogs were taken away by the cops right after the attack, and four more dogs and nine puppies were taken away later.
The cops also said that a van was found in south Manchester and is being looked at as part of the probe.
Detective Inspector Matthew Dixon told the BBC that it was a “fluid investigation” and asked the people for help in finding out more.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has also been told about the event by the Greater Manchester Police, the BBC said.
