India vs Sri Lanka (IND vs SL) ODI 2023, 1st ODI Highlights: India defeated Sri Lanka by 67 runs in the first edition of their three-match one-day international series on Tuesday in Guwahati. Virat Kohli scored a superb century to lead India to the victory. Kohli scored 113 runs in 87 balls by hitting 12 fours and one six. It was the former captain’s 45th ODI century, leaving him four short of Sachin Tendulkar’s record.

After being put into bat first, India’s innings concluded at 373-7 with captain Rohit Sharma scoring 83 and Shubman Gill scoring 70.
In response, Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka made an undefeated 108 and opener Pathum Nissanka scored a decent 72, but it was insufficient as the visitors were unable to chase down the large total.
