Amazon’s Valentine’s Day searches

In January 2023, searches for “Valentine’s day decor” jumped 51% year over year. According to statistics from Similarweb Shopper Intelligence, the number of searches increased to 2.2 million, making it the most popular search.
With 1.7 million searches, “Valentines day presents” was the second most popular query. According to statistics from Similarweb, that has increased by 74% since last year.
According to estimations from Similarweb, Valentine’s Day-related searches on Amazon.com ranked No. 1, No. 4, and No. 11 in January. Additionally, the top 15 product searches included lingerie for ladies, which according to Similarweb may have Valentine’s Day connotations. The traffic to the main Amazon.com website for the United States was analysed by Similarweb Shopper Intelligence to determine these rankings.
According to Similarweb, the most popular “valentines day presents” item was a beard oil gift set. 44,600 clicks, or 5.6% of all search hits, were recorded. According to Similarweb, a holiday selection “care package” gift set came in second place with 4% of the market (33,000 clicks).
Not all of the top Amazon searches, meanwhile, were for Valentine’s Day-related goods. The demand for iPhone and Apple Watch accessories peaked in January 2023. Furthermore, year over year searches for “crocs” and “exercise sets for ladies” more than doubled.
In the 2022 Digital Commerce 360 Top 1000 database, Amazon.com Inc. is ranked first. Online retailers in North America are ranked by sales in the Top 1000. In the database of the 100 biggest international markets, Digital Commerce 360 Online Marketplaces, it is ranked third.

The top goods when customers searched for “valentines day presents,” according to Similarweb, were:
- From XIKEZAN Store, a five-pack of beard oils (44,629 clicks; 5.61% share).
- Cravebox’s Valentine’s Day care package (33,121 clicks; 4.16% share)
- DeckTheHalls’s “Rose Bear with Box and Artificial Flowers” (19,484 clicks; 2.45% share)
- Generic: Custom acrylic picture keychain (19,092 hits; 2.40% share)
- Valentine’s Day capsules from COVLUROTO for her and him (14.78% share; 14,167 hits)
Reese’s miniatures, hearts, and women’s lingerie from Avidlove each received over 11,300 hits and accounted for 1.43% of all product searches.
