Amritpal Singh had changed vehicles five times in twelve hours to avoid capture on Saturday. Since that day, the Khalistani leader’s aide, Papalpreet Singh, has been with him, and the two have been seen in other CCTV footage.

He is the leader of “Waris Punjab De,” a radical organization founded by the late actor and activist Deep Sidhu, who was killed in a car accident in February of last year.On February 23, he participated in a massive protest against the detention of his key aide and alleged kidnapper, Lovepreet Singh. Six police officers were hurt during the conflict.

However, intelligence agents have informed that Amritpal Singh has engaged in a variety of “illegal activities,” including procuring weapons from Pakistan via its spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence and attempting to divide Punjab along communal lines.
