Overview
The BalaQuila Fort, which is also called the Alwar Fort, is one of the most historically important places in Alwar. It is also one of the best places to visit in Alwar, Rajasthan. The fort covers an area of 5 kilometers and stands at a height of 1000 feet with 15 big towers, 51 small towers, and 446 gun slits.
Hasan Khan Mewati built it in 1550. Since then, Alwar has been ruled by Khanzadas, Mughals, Pathans, and Jats, all of which have their own families. The fort is still as impressive as ever, and it’s a great place to go on a night out in the city.
