On Sunday, the fatality toll from the Bhiwandi building collapse rose to four, according to a Thane Municipal Corporation representative.
Saturday afternoon in the Bhiwandi neighborhood of the Thane district of Maharashtra, a three-story building collapsed, burying several persons beneath the rubble.
“The death toll in the Bhiwandi building collapse incident in Thane, Maharashtra, has risen to four. “Additional rescue operations are in progress,” stated a Thane Municipal Corporation representative.
Earlier, NDRF and TDRF rescued a man who had been stranded under the collapsed building for more than twenty hours.
In the meantime, teams from the Fire Brigade, Police, TDRF, and NDRF are on the scene to rescue individuals stranded in the rubble.
On Saturday night, the chief minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, visited the Indira Gandhi Hospital and met with the injured.
Additionally, CM Shinde visited the incident site and reported that rescue operations are underway and that 12 persons have been rescued.
Additionally, he inquired about the two surviving offspring. The names of the two infants are Prem and Prince.
Additionally, the PM has ordered that the injured be treated at government expense.
According to an official statement, he declared financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each for the kin of those killed in the Bhiwandi building collapse on Saturday.

CM Shinde also instructed the administration that the police, fire department, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and other rescue teams should carry out the rescue operations effectively, and that the injured should be transported to hospitals promptly and treatment should be initiated.
