With the Eid film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Shehnaaz Gill made her Bollywood debut. The actor encountered the film’s star and producer, Salman Khan, for the first time in 2019 when she was a contestant on Bigg Boss 13. Since then, Shehnaaz has undergone a remarkable transformation, losing weight and altering her fashion sense. The actor disclosed that she made this decision consciously after taking in all of the negative feedback she received after appearing on Bigg Boss.
The victor of Bigg Boss 13 was the late actor Siddharth Shukla, with model Asim Riaz finishing as the runner-up. Shehnaaz finished in third place as the runner-up. After her début in Sat Shri Akaal England (2017), the actor was already well-known in the Punjabi film industry for her work. Shehnaaz has become a style icon since her appearance on Bigg Boss, as she recently won the award for Most Stylish Trailblazer.

Shehnaaz explained to Press Trust of India (PTI) how she labored to better herself. She stated, “I have changed and worked on myself. When people provided me with sound advice, I implemented it and improved. I lost weight as a result of the body-shaming I endured on ‘Bigg Boss’ when I was overweight. Then, I altered my manner because people believed I could only wear salwar suits. I would continue to disprove these preconceived conceptions going forward.”
The actor also hosts Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gil, a YouTube talk program. Her most recent visitor was the rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh. Along with Shehnaaz, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar also made their début in Salman’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Shehnaaz has also completed photography on an untitled Rhea Kapoor production.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji, has already grossed 41.56 crore over the Eid holiday weekend in just two days. After four years, it is the first Salman film to be released in theaters on Eid. In 2019, his final Eid theatrical release was Bharat.
