Wednesday, the Chinese foreign ministry condemned the high-level US meeting between Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen and US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in California and vowed to take resolute and effective measures to protect national sovereignty.

The United States has also evaded and undermined the one-China principle.
