The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts that Cyclone ‘Biparjoy’, which made landfall in coastal areas of Gujarat on Thursday, will diminish further by Friday morning and transform into a ‘depression’ by the following evening. The intensity of the cyclone decreased from’very severe’ to’severe’ after yesterday’s landfall.
