Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky arrives in India for 3-day official visit

Jan Lipavsky, the foreign minister of the Czech Republic, arrived in India on Sunday for a three-day official trip that is meant to help.

“Welcoming  Jan Lipavsky, the foreign minister of the Czech Republic, as he lands in India for a three-day official visit. India’s bilateral relations with the Czech Republic will gain additional momentum as a result of this visit, MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted on Sunday. From February 26 to March 1, Jan Lipavsky will be in India.

A press release from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that Lipavsky will attend the first session of the India-EU Business and Sustainability Conclave on February 28 as part of his trip to India.

In India, Jan Lipavsky will be accompanied by members of the Czech Republic’s Parliament, the Deputy Minister for Science, Research, and Innovation, and a high-level official and business delegation, according to a recent release from the Ministry of External Affairs. Lipavsky will also meet with S. Jaishankar, who is the minister of external affairs. The two leaders are likely to talk about issues that affect their countries, the region, and the world as a whole.

“During the visit, Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky will meet with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for bilateral talks. The two leaders are expected to talk about all aspects of their relationship and share their thoughts on regional and international issues that are important to both of them,” the MEA said in a statement.

It went on to say, “Foreign Minister Lipavsky will also be at the start of the India-EU Business and Sustainability Conclave on February 28, 2023, which will be put on by CII.” He will then go to Mumbai on the same day and leave from Mumbai on March 1, 2023.”

Lipavsky’s trip to India comes after EAM S. Jaishankar’s trip to the Czech Republic in June 2022, where he met with Lipavsky and talked at the delegation level. During Jaishankar’s trip to Austria in January of this year, the two leaders met in Vienna.
