Cody Longo, best known for his role as Nicholas “Nikki” Alamain on NBC’s ‘Days of Our Lives,’ has died at the age of 34, according to CNN. On Wednesday, the actor was discovered dead at his home in Texas, United States. Stephanie Longo, Mr Longo’s wife, contacted the police to check up on him at home while she was working at a nearby dancing class.
“Cody was our whole world,” Stephanie Longo stated, according to the source. “The kids and I are broken and saddened. He was the finest parent and father figure. We shall miss and adore you for the rest of our lives “She went on to say.
The cause of death has not been determined. Mr Longo’s agent, Alex Gittelson, told CNN that the actor was a “close friend going back many years” before becoming a client. Mr Gittelson also said that the ‘Days of Our Lives’ actor had taken a break from acting to focus on his music career and spend more time with his family, but that he was delighted to return to acting this year.
“Cody was such a devoted, caring, and brilliant person, and he will be deeply missed,” said Mr Gittelson.
Cody Longo participated in numerous prominent television episodes, including ‘Medium,’ ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,’ and ‘CSI: New York,’ according to Variety magazine. He also starred in ‘Piranha 3D,’ a horror comedy. He was most known for portraying Nicholas Alamain on ‘Days of Our Lives’ for eight episodes in 2011.

Mr Longo, in addition to acting, recorded the songs ‘She Said’ and ‘Electric’. Prior to his death, the actor was working on the next feature film ‘Do You Want to Die in Indio?’ directed by David Moreton.
Mr Longo was born in Colorado and studied psychology and cinema at the University of California, Los Angeles, according to his IMDb website. In 2009, he began his professional acting career. He was also a performer and songwriter, with his song “She Said” charting on Billboard in 2014.
