Tuesday, the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi granted WFI president and BJP member Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh two days of interim parole in the sexual harassment of female wrestlers case. The court also granted interim parole to Vinod Tomar, an additional defendant in the case. The interim bail was set at 25,000 for each defendant.
The parole hearing for the two accused will take place on July 20.
On June 15, the Delhi Police filed a chargesheet against Singh and Tomar under IPC sections 354, 354D, 345A, and 506 (1) in response to a complaint filed by female wrestlers.

Prior to this, two FIRs were lodged against the BJP MP: one under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) in the case of a juvenile wrestler, and the other on the complaint of multiple wrestlers.
