The National Investigation Agency’s most wanted ISIS terrorist Shahnawaj alias Saifi was arrests by Delhi police’s special cell on Monday.
On Monday, the Delhi police apprehended three Islamic State (IS) terrorists who were sought by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Delhi police special division apprehended the suspects after a massive manhunt. “Based on input from foreign controllers, the module planned to carry out terrorist attacks in northern India. “Incriminating materials, including materials suspected of being used for IED fabrication, were recovered,” stated the police. Shahnawaz has been identified as one of the suspect terrorists, and there is a reward of Rs 3 lakh on his head. He was sought in the ISIS case in Pune. The terrorist, who is an engineer was residing in Delhi by hiding his identity. The police are interrogating the detained terrorists, and additional information is awaited.
Last month, the NIA released photographs of four terror suspects, including Shahnawaz, sought in the Pune ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) module case, and announced a reward of Rs 3 lakh for each suspect’s arrest based on credible information. The agency has stated that the informant’s identity will be kept secret.
Engineer by trade, Shahnawaz escaped from police custody in Pune and was living in Delhi, according to police.
The Delhi Police Special Cell has also detained additional individuals. The investigation is being expanded. Shahnawaz was momentarily apprehended by Pune Police on the night of July 17-18, as he attempted to steal a motorcycle in the Kothrud neighborhood of Pune.

During the investigation, it was discovered that a foreign-based handler may have placed Shahnawaz in contact with two other terror operatives and given them orders to carry out a terrorist attack.
