Nitish Rana, the new captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders, said on Tuesday that he is ready for the job and will rely on man management to help the team do well in the upcoming IPL. Nitish said at a press conference, “Man management is important because, at the end of the day, it’s just a game of cricket.” “I’ve been in charge for the last two or three years, but I just got the captaincy title. It’s nothing new to me.” I like to take responsibility, and I hope I can do it. I don’t like to follow anyone. I want to lead the team in the way I think is best and move the team forward,” he said.
Chandrakant Pandit, the coach of KKR, is ready for the new IPL season and is optimistic about his team’s chances.
“This is a different challenge because you’re working with well-known international players,” he said. “I like challenges, though, so let’s see how it goes.”
When asked about the new “Impact Rule,” he said, “We’ve been working on it, and it’s hard for coaches and captains. We are very ready for this, though.” Pandit said this about Rana: “He has been with KKR for so many years. He has played cricket at home for so many years. All the boxes need to be checked, as the saying goes, and he has done that. So, the task has been given to him. It was a group choice that was made out of trust.” Rana, for his part, said that only time will show how good a captain he is.

“Everyone has their own way of being a captain. Everyone has something to teach us, but my way is something you’ll have to wait and see and talk about.”
