The Dudhsagar Waterfalls, located on the Goa-Karnataka border, are a must-see attraction in India. The four-tiered waterfall structure on the Mandovi River is one of the tallest in India. The white water cascades down a nearly steep mountain face from a height of approximately 1017 feet. They are part of the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, so the best way to reach them is to enter the park and take a park-provided van to the falls.
The Dudhsagar trek within the park is closed to the public, but it is still possible to reach the waterfalls by trekking from Kulem and following the jeep trail. Trekking from Castle Rock in Karnataka is an alternative route. Reaching the waterfalls will not be simple, but it will be worth every ounce of effort expended. The best time to witness them is during the monsoons, as they lose strength during the dry season.
During this time, many tours are organized so that you can choose to travel in a group. Some tours even offer camping options for the night. To ensure a positive experience, however, you must be well-prepared, especially if you are undertaking a self-organized trek. Long after you have left Dudhsagar behind, you will remember the lush, verdant jungle and the magnificent waterfall with its powerful sprays.

To reach Kulem from Panaji, take a train to the Kulem station. However, a proper platform cannot be expected here. It is a difficult stop.
