Dubai: According to Elon Musk, Twitter will appoint a new CEO “probably by the end of this year.”
According to the New York Post, Musk said during a video conference at the World Government Summit in Dubai that the platform’s usability is what matters most to him.
According to the New York Post, when asked when he would nominate a CEO, Elon Musk said, “I believe I need to stabilise the business and ensure its financial soundness.
Finding a new CEO for the business would definitely be a smart idea near the end of this year.”
Twitter is still in some ways a startup operating backward, he said.
To develop the software engineering engine and to move Twitter to a more solid position, effort is necessary.
Musk said earlier this month that the last three months had been “very challenging” since he “had to rescue Twitter from bankruptcy” in addition to carrying out his responsibilities at Tesla and SpaceX.
Musk acknowledged the difficulties with the microblogging platform on his official Twitter account.
Tweeted Elon Musk, “The last three months have been tremendously difficult since we had to keep Tesla and SpaceX operating while also saving Twitter from bankruptcy. Nobody deserves that kind of suffering. Twitter still has difficulties, but if we persevere, we can get it to break even. Support from the public is much desired! “. He tweeted in reaction to a news story from The Wall Street Journal.

According to Fox Business, Elon Musk has downsized Twitter’s workforce by almost half, launched a redesigned Blue membership programme, and even auctioned off artefacts from the company’s San Francisco headquarters. In November, he justified Twitter’s layoffs by pointing out that the firm was losing USD 4 million per day.
According to the news article, Twitter has stated that it would begin charging a charge for access to its API, which developers use to construct third-party services. On January 13, Musk previously disclosed some of the changes that will be made to the microblogging site starting the following week. He said, “Next week, picture length crop will be fixed, and the bookmark button will go to the tweet details page.”
