On July 18, following rumours of the show’s cancellation, Hollywood Vampires posted on Instagram verifying the news. The note stated, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Vampires will not be performing in Budapest tonight. General and VIP tickets, as well as meet-and-greet passes, will be refunded in full. We adore and appreciate all the fans who travelled from near and far to watch us perform, and we sincerely apologise. Apologies to The Hollywood Vampires.”

Johnny reportedly was unable to exit the hotel room.

Several reports have surfaced since then claiming that Johnny fell unwell in his hotel room. An insider was quoted by Blikk as saying, “Everything was complete, the stage was set, and the background crew was also prepared for the party.
