Sunday was Vayu Kapoor Ahuja’s first birthday. He is the son of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. On Monday, the couple showed a photo of the baby’s first birthday celebration at their home in Delhi. Their family members also came to the puja and family lunch that they held.
Inside Vayu Kapoor’s first birthday
Sonam posted a bunch of pictures from the party on her Instagram account. The family wore traditional clothes, and Vayu, the youngest, wore a blue kurta and white trousers. In the first picture, Sonam and Anand were cuddling Vayu at their home puja.
Anil Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor join too
In one shot, Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor and mother Sunita Kapoor posed with members of Anand’s family. Sonam also posted a picture of herself laughing and playing with Vayu on the happy day. Sonam was gorgeous in her salwar suit.
Along with these pictures, Sonam also showed fans more pictures of the inside of their home. The house was fully decorated, from a view of their home temple to the bright table setting for Vayu’s birthday lunch. Several colourful paper cranes and a big bunch of birthday balloons for Vayu were also hanging from the ceiling.
Sonam wrote, along with all the pictures, “Our Vayu turned 1 yesterday. We had a beautiful ceremony and lunch with the family. Anand Ahuja on Vayu’s birthday
Anand Ahuja had put up a notice for Vayu earlier in the day. Anand shared a couple of pictures of his son Vayu without showing his face and wrote, “Out my face; I ain’t a Rookie!” #SophomoreSeason #VayusParents.” Sonam and Anand haven’t shown the full face of their child to the public yet.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja were together for almost two years before they got married in 2018. Sonam told everyone in March of last year that she was pregnant.
Sonam was last seen this year in the drama Blind, which was made by Jio Cinema.
