G20 Foreign Ministers meeting: Foreign ministers from G20 nations condemned terrorism in all of its manifestations and forms, pointing out the increasing danger posed by terrorists utilising cutting-edge and emerging technologies.
The G20 Foreign Ministers’ gathering in Delhi’s Outcome Document made a similar case for expanded and revitalised multilateralism and reform.
No matter the cause, wherever, whenever, or by whomever they are done, all acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, according to the foreign ministers.
For India, the cross-border terrorism that comes from Pakistan has been a significant concern.
The G20’s foreign ministers urged a comprehensive strategy to combat terrorism. “We condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, including those based on xenophobia, racism, and other forms of intolerance, or in the name of religion or belief, acknowledging the commitment of all religions to peace,” the leaders declared in Antalya (2015), Hamburg (2017), and Osaka (2019).
“We vehemently condemn all terrorist attacks on vulnerable targets and essential infrastructure, including key energy facilities. No matter the motivation, wherever, whenever, or by whomever they are done, all acts of terrorism are unlawful and unjustifiable, according to the document.
“Effective counterterrorism measures, support for terrorism victims, and protection of human rights are not competing objectives, but rather complementary and mutually reinforcing ones,” the ministers declared.

The paper also emphasised the importance of using a comprehensive strategy to combat terrorism that is based on international law.
The danger posed by terrorists using cutting-edge technologies, according to the foreign ministers, is growing.
