According to media, American model Gigi Hadid was arrested for ganja on cayman islands. Last week, Gigi Hadid was arrested while on vacation in the Cayman Islands, according to the report.
When Gigi, Kai’s mother, and her companion arrived on a private plane to the Cayman Islands on suspicion of possessing illegal substances, officials reportedly searched her luggage.

During a search, officials reportedly found “marijuana and paraphernalia used for the consumption of marijuana,” according to Cayman Marl Road.
Following the discovery, Gigi Hadid and her companion were arrested on “suspicion of Importation of Ganja and Importation of Utensils used for the consumption of ganja,” according to the publication.
They were transported to the Prisoner Detention Centre, where they were later released on parole.
The report adds that Gigi Hadid and her friend appeared in court on July 12 and entered guilty pleas. The model and her companion were each penalised $1,000. They are not subject to any additional fees.
“Gigi was travelling with marijuana legally purchased in New York City with a medical licence,” Gigi Hadid’s representative told Rolling Stone in a statement. Since 2017, it has also been lawful for medical use in Grand Cayman. Her record is unblemished, and she thoroughly relished the remainder of her time on the island.”
