Gili Gede, Bali – Wanderela

Gili Gede is apparently the best known about the “Secret Gilis” – a sprinkling of islands off the shore of southwest Lombok far lesser known than the Gilis of the northwest.

It’s a well-known fact that Bali is home to a large number of islands, each of which plays a significant role in the island’s tourism industry. Gili Gede is yet another of these islands, and it is an attraction that you absolutely must miss. It appears that Gili Gede is the most well-known of the “Secret Gilis,” which are a scattering of islands off the coast of southwest Lombok. These islands are significantly less well-known than the Gilis to the northwest.

Gili Gede lies within a gathering likewise involving Gili Layan, Gili Ringgit and Gili Asahan.  Gili Gede is not a party island like the more well-known Gilis that are located further to the north. The convenience is maintained, and the financial pillars consisting of pearl farming and fishing continue as before.

The atmosphere on the island is very tranquil, and there is a significant amount of pearl farming and fishing that takes place here on the islands. There is nothing in the technique for bars or restaurants that are not supported, and there is nothing at all for eateries. You’ll most likely be eating and drinking where you’re staying, so plan accordingly. Gili Gede is the location of five different towns, and approximately the same number of spaces are still available.
