On November 23 of last year, Bose took office as the new Governor of West Bengal
Sources at Raj Bhavan said on Monday that Governor CV Ananda Bose has taken Nandini Chakravorty off of her duties because he is putting together a new team. On August 18, 2022, Chakravorty was given the extra job of being Governor La Ganesan’s main secretary. She kept the job even after Bose took over for Ganesan as Governor of West Bengal on November 23 of last year.
The former governor Jagdeep Dhankhar often butted heads with the government led by Mamata Banerjee over many issues. He also put together a team of his own choosing to run the day-to-day business at Raj Bhavan.
Before becoming the governor’s main secretary, Chakravorty, an IAS officer from the class of 1994, was in charge of the state’s Department of Non-Conventional and Renewable Energy Sources.
In his first statement since being put in charge of the state, Bose said on Saturday that his main goal will be to protect the Indian Constitution and help the people of Bengal.
The West Bengal branch of the BJP has been saying that Bose’s top aide was giving him false information, which is why the Governor has been easy on the state government. Suvendu Adhikari, the leader of the opposition in the state assembly, said that Chakravorty was sent to the Raj Bhawan as a representative of the state government to “carry out the secret political plans of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.”

The BJP leaders also said that the Governor didn’t pay enough attention to their complaints about the ruling party and instead did what the state government told him to do.
On Monday, Adhikari said, “The Governor is getting back on track. This looks good.’
But the Trinamool Congress didn’t say anything about the matter.
