Thursday, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar announced a monthly pension of Rs 2,750 for unmarried people aged 45 to 60 whose annual income is less than Rs 1,8 lakh. The pension will also be available to widows and widowers of the same age who earn less than Rs 3 lakh annually.
Khattar stated at a press conference, “I declare that from now on, unmarried men and women between the ages of 45 and 60 in Haryana will receive a monthly pension of Rs 2,750.” This pension will benefit individuals with an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakhs.
The pension will be provided under the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) programme, which identifies approximately 65,000 unmarried men and women aged 45 to 60 from Below Poverty Line (BPL) households.
In addition, widows between the ages of 40 and 60 with an annual income of less than Rs 3 lakh will receive a pension of Rs 2,750 per month, according to the Haryana chief minister.
Previously, on June 26, Chief Minister Khattar proclaimed the implementation of a monthly mobile allowance for all Haryana Police officers up to the rank of inspector.

“Haryana CM Khattar announced Rs 200 for Constables and Head Constables, Rs 250 for Assistant Sub-Inspectors, Rs 300 for Sub-Inspectors, and Rs 400 for Inspectors,” according to an official statement.
