In India, the OnePlus Nord CE 2, which was released in February 2017 with Android 11 pre-installed, is receiving the latest Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update. Users who have participated in the company’s open beta program are presently receiving the most recent update. According to OnePlus, it will be gradually handed out to consumers on a large scale. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 OxygenOS 13 update provides performance enhancements, new security and privacy features, home widgets, and OnePlus’ new Aquamorphic Design.
The Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update for OnePlus Nord CE 2 smartphones in India will initially trickle out to users who enrolled in the company’s Open Beta Program, according to a post shared by OnePlus on its Community page. The update includes new design themes, customisation options such as Aquamorphic Design theme colors, a home screen world clock widget, the Quantum Animation Engine 4.0, and optimised widgets, typefaces, and system icons.
According to OnePlus, the Android 13 update for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 delivers enhanced security and privacy, including an automatic pixelation feature for conversation screenshots. It also supports Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption for mobile device files.
The most recent update has also enhanced the system’s performance, stability, battery life, and app experience, as well as reduced power consumption with HyperBoost GPA 4.0 for gaming. In addition, it has a redesigned media playback control, improved Quick Settings, and features such as a floating Sidebar Toolbox window.

Users can manually check for updates by accessing the phone’s Settings app and installing them by selecting Software update > Install.Install the update on their OnePlus Nord CE 2 device.
In February 2022, OnePlus introduced the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and Android 11-based OxygenOS 11. The smartphone is receiving its second significant OS update. OxygenOS 12, based on Android 12, was the company’s first significant OS update in August of last year. The device features a 64-megapixel triple camera system and 65W Super VOOC quick charging.
