ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule: IND vs PAK on October 15

The first semifinal will be played on November 15 in Mumbai. The second semifinal will be played a day later in Kolkata.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially released the schedule for the eagerly anticipated World Cup 2023. The 46-day cricket carnival will begin on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium with a rematch of the last edition’s final between defending champions England and New Zealand.

The much-anticipated clash between archrivals India and Pakistan has been confirmed to take place on October 15 at the same venue. While the Wankhede and Eden Gardens will each stage a semi-final, the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19 will host the championship match.

The thirteenth edition of the iconic quadrennial tournament will be hosted by ten Indian venues, including the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which will host the tournament opener and the championship match. The 2011 World Cup champions and hosts India will open their campaign on October 8 in Chennai against the most successful team in tournament history, Australia.
