The series was decided on Wednesday as India defeated New Zealand in the final Twenty20 International by a score of 168 runs.
India won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 234-4 thanks in large part to Shubman Gill’s (126 not out) first Twenty20 International century. They then bowled New Zealand out for 66 runs in 12.2 overs. For New Zealand, Daryl Mitchell was the leading scorer with 35 points.
Four wickets were taken by Hardik Pandya for 16 runs, and Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Mavi, and Umran Malik each took two.
