India Announces The Resumption Of E-Visa Services For Saudis

India declared that the availability of e-visa for Saudi Arabian citizens has been reinstated immediately.

Riyadh: India declared that the availability of e-visa for Saudi Arabian citizens has been reinstated immediately.
The Indian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, tweeted on Thursday, “The Embassy is happy to announce that the facility of e-visa has been restored for the nationals of Saudi Arabia with immediate effect in all five sub-categories i.e. e-tourist visa, e-business visa, e-medical visa, e-medical attendant visa & e-conference visa.

It’s important to note that India introduced the e-Visa programme for Saudi citizens in 2019. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the programme was halted; it has since been restored, and it will once again take effect on March 9, 2023.

It is important to note that applications and price payments must be submitted at least 4 days prior to the intended departure date in order to be considered.

Applicants may visit the website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html to fill out and submit their applications online. and use in 4 simple actions. – Apply online, upload a picture and a passport page, and pay the eVisa charge with a credit card, debit card, or electronic money; Obtain an online Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) that will be sent to your email, fly to India, print the ETA, and show it at the immigration checkpoint so that the eVisa can be marked on your passport.

Due to their close relationship and strategic collaboration with India, Saudi Arabia earlier stated that Indian citizens would not be required to present a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) in order to apply for a passport to enter the country.

The PCC will no longer be necessary for Indian residents, according to the Saudi Embassy in New Delhi, and the decision was made as part of attempts by the two nations to further improve their ties.
