The Asian “Quad” powers are looking for methods to define themselves, and the foreign minister of Japan has proposed using The Beatles as a blueprint.
Yoshimasa Hayashi, a devoted music aficionado, made the comparison to the Fab Four on Friday in New Delhi, when he encountered his Quad counterparts from the United States of America, Australia, and India.
“This ensemble is reminiscent of The Beatles in many ways. The lineup is set, and the same musicians have been performing together for more than a decade “Hayashi said.
However, this is more of a support organisation, which allows Paul McCartney to release a record under his own name while still being a member of The Beatles.
Hayashi is a talented pianist, and when he first met his Group of Seven counterparts in 2021 in Liverpool, the band’s birthplace, he stunned them with a spontaneous performance of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” Hayashi played the song on an acoustic piano.
China has stated that the Quad is an attempt to surround it and that the late Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe was the driving force behind its formation as a democratic coalition.
Its members have denied that they have any hostile intentions and have emphasised that they are not a military coalition. Instead, they work together on things like the production of vaccines and catastrophe assistance.
A comparable argument was made by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is also a guitarist and has published his own tracks that were influenced by classic rock. However, Blinken’s point was not as musically oriented as Hayashi’s.

According to what he said, “we really look at this as changeable geometry.”
According to what he said, “there are various combinations of countries, some of which are informal alliances, some of which are weaker relationships, some of which are working together on a bilateral basis, and some of which are in somewhat bigger groupings.”
The goal here is to ensure that we can meet the requirements of any particular challenge in a manner that is both effective and efficient.
