Jharkhand: Nitin Gadkari inaugurates and sets foundation stones for National Highway projects in Ranchi, Jamshedpur

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, launched and laid foundation stones for 21 projects in Dhurva, Ranchi, Jharkhand, totaling 532 kilometers and costing over Rs 9,400 crore.

Thursday in Ranchi, Jharkhand, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and placed foundation stones for 21 projects totaling 532 kilometers and costing more than Rs 9,400 crore.

Nitin Gadkari stated that with the construction of the 260-kilometer, 4-lane inter-corridor from Ranchi to Varanasi at a cost of 7,000 crores, the distance between the two cities can be traversed in five hours.

According to a press release, he added that the 635-kilometer, 4-lane Raipur-Dhanbad Economic Corridor will facilitate the transport of coal, steel, cement, and other minerals.

Today, Gadkari also inaugurated and placed the foundation stones for 10 National Highway projects totaling 220 kilometers and costing Rs 3,843 crore at Bishtupur, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand.

With the construction of Jharkhand’s first 4-lane double-decker elevated road from Kali Mandir to Baliguma on the Ranchi-Jamshedpur route at a cost of 1,876 crores, the 45-minute journey will be completed in 5 minutes, according to the union minister.
