Kane, whose actual name is Glenn Jacobs, is currently serving as Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, in the United States. The WWE Hall of Famer’s admirers have been awaiting his return to action. The Undertaker, Kane’s contemporary and most famous tag team companion, retired from WWE on November 22, 2020, at the age of 55.
In a recent interview with PW Mania, 55-year-old Kane addressed rumours regarding his WWE return and the possibility of a retirement match.
“I will always keep that door ajar. In WWE we never say never. I have no idea what will occur. I occasionally contribute to the WWE. This is something I enjoy and wish to continue doing for the rest of my existence. If it is something in the ring, I am unsure. Perhaps you should ask Kane that query,” Kane suggested.
The 55-year-old legend walked down memory lane and reflected on the moment he removed his mask.
“I was ecstatic about it. It was a transition. I felt that Kane had become somewhat hackneyed. While the mask was a wonderful asset because it provided a mystique and mystery that no one else had, and also because we use our faces a lot to show emotion, which is what WWE is all about and getting the audience to feel what you feel, I was limited in my ability to do so because of the mask. I was eager to participate. Kane stated, “It was a distinct character.”

“Kane went from being a physical monster who did not speak and whose only visible emotion was a head tilt, which was ambiguous and signalled that something terrible was about to happen to someone, to being a psychological monster. He transformed from Michael Myers to Hannibal Lecter. That is more horrifying to me. Even though he appeared to be normal on the outside, he is now a very large man who is mentally unstable. The wounds were internal and psychological. That is much more frightening to me than a masked man rushing around. I was enthusiastic about it. I was unaware that it would act as it did and be a completely distinct character. It was similar to making your debut and starting over, but at a much higher level because you had so much legacy behind you,” he added.
