Thursday, Union minister Anurag Thakur responded strongly to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s controversial “poisonous snake” comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Anurag Thakur asserted, “After suffering repeated electoral defeats, the frustration of Congress leaders is evident in such remarks.” He stated, “Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and the current party leader, use unparliamentary language against the Prime Minister on a regular basis. Recently, they were overheard discussing excavating a grave for the prime minister. Are they attempting to hatch a strategy against the prime minister of India? “The Congress should apologize for the remarks, or else the voters of Karnataka will lose their safety,” he said.

He stated that the Congress appointed Mallikarjun Kharge as party president, and that Kharge made a statement worse than Sonia Gandhi’s. “Congress leaders are also conspiring against the Indian democracy abroad in connection with foreign forces,” he said.
In addition, he ridiculed the Congress for challenging the federal government’s ban on state water taxation. “The move will discourage investment in the state,” he explained.
