Lab tests confirm substance found at White House was cocaine, Trump launches rant

Media was informed by a spokesman for the Secret Service that the final test results for a white material found at the White House on Sunday were positive.

Media was informed by a spokesman for the Secret Service that the final test results for a white material found at the White House on Sunday were positive.

The substance was submitted for further investigation and testing, the Secret Service had previously stated.

On the other hand, former US President Donald Trump has launched a tirade in response to the discovery of cocaine on White House grounds.

Trump posted on Truth Social on Wednesday, “Does anyone seriously believe that the cocaine found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, was for anyone other than Hunter and Joe Biden?”

“But observe, the Fake News Media will soon begin claiming that the amount discovered was’very small,’ and that it wasn’t actually cocaine, but rather common ground-up aspirin, and the story will disappear. Has the insane, Trump-hating Special Prosecutor Deranged Jack Smith been spotted in the vicinity of the cocaine? He added, “He looks like a crackhead to me.”

Media cites a source familiar with the situation as saying that the substance was discovered near the West Wing’s ground-floor entrance. This location is traversed by White House staff-led excursions as they enter the building.

The substance was discovered close to the location where visitors are instructed to deposit their mobile phones prior to accessing the West Wing. Typically, these excursions only occur on weekends.

Previously, Media sources characterized the substance as a small bag containing a white powder.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre expressed Wednesday confidence that the Secret Service will “get to the bottom” of the incident. She verified that the cocaine was discovered in a “high-traffic area” of the West Wing.

She added that Vice President Joe Biden had been briefed on the situation and “everything we know so far,” and that the Secret Service was conducting an investigation.

She added, “We are confident that they will get to the bottom of this.”

Sunday evening’s detection of the substance prompted an immediate evacuation as part of the Secret Service’s “precautionary closures.”

Biden spent the weekend at Camp David before returning on Tuesday morning to the White House.
