The Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow airport is going to have its runway repaired, which means that the departure and arrival timings of a number of night flights to and from that airport will be adjusted. There will be maintenance work done each night from 9:30 p.m. until 6 a.m., and this will have an impact on flight timings from February 23 through July 11 of this year. It would be necessary to adjust the schedules of eight flights. The passengers will receive a notification from the airlines informing them of the situation. Both of the Go Air flights scheduled to take place on February 24 (G8-2619 and G8-2620) have been scrapped. IndiGo has moved the departure time of its flight (6E 6469) between Lucknow and Kolkata from six o’clock in the evening to five o’clock in the afternoon. Moreover, the aircraft from Lucknow to Bengaluru (serial number 6E 6354), which departed before at 10:55 p.m., departs now at 7:50 p.m. Moreover, the departure time of the aircraft from Lucknow to Patna (6E 118) has been moved forward to 8:30 pm from 9:50 pm. According to a representative for the Lucknow airport, the departure time of the flight from Lucknow to Mumbai (6E 2245) has been moved forward to 9:15 pm from the previous departure time of 9:30 pm.
The spokesperson also said, “From February 23 to July 11, the runway would be closed from 9:30 pm to 6 am.” From this point of view, the times of major airlines’ night flights have changed. There will be trouble with a total of eight flights. Two more have been scrapped. SMS alerts have been sent to passengers by airlines. At the moment, 17 flights take off or land at night. Some people have already changed their plans.
