Nawalgarh is a town in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Nawalgarh is famous for its frescoes and havelis and considered as Golden City of Rajasthan.

Nawalgarh, Rajasthan, a small town also known as the “land of the Havelis,” is situated in the Jhunjhunu district not far from Jaipur. Shekhawati is a significant part of Rajasthan’s cultural landscape, and the city of Nawalgarh is a great place to see examples of Shekhawati art and architecture. Jhunjhuna is 39 kilometers away, and you can also get there from Sikar, which is only 30 kilometers away.

Nawalgarh City has little in the way of natural beauty, but the picturesque buildings and structures and vibrant artwork all around make up for it. Hiking and exploring opportunities abound in the nearby hills and forests, which surround the town.Nawalgarh is known for its beautiful Havelis and other structures, which were built by the town’s creative residents and are a testament to their skill. Paintings, frescoes, inlay work, and other beautiful forms of art have been depicted on the walls of the Havelis, and the entire town is often referred to as an open-air gallery because of this.

Exploring the Havelis and their magnificent courtyards and listening to the many fascinating stories about their histories is one of the best things to do in Nawalgarh. The climate in Nawalgarh is extremely harsh year-round. Daytime highs in the summer can reach 45 degrees Celsius, making for a very uncomfortable time of year. This city is most pleasant to visit in the winter, when temperatures average 6°C.
