Sunday, police reported that a detonation on a historic street near the Golden Temple in this city injured one person and damaged the glass facades of several buildings in punjab explosion.
Saturday night, a detonation of unknown origin was reported near a restaurant, according to them.
The explosion was audible within one kilometer of the Golden Temple.
The police reported that forensic teams had arrived at the scene and were conducting an investigation.
According to reports, one individual was injured in the incident. The detonation also caused damage to the glass facades of some buildings, they added.
Karandeep Singh, a devotee who was present at the scene, reported that several females riding in an auto-rickshaw were injured by glass shards after the explosion. He stated that the ladies had traveled from Panchkula, Haryana, to pay their respects at the Golden Temple.

In the meantime, the Amritsar police stated, “A report of explosions in Amritsar is trending on social media, but the situation is under control.” Investigations are underway to determine the incident’s facts, so there is no need to alarm.
