Padma Awards 2023
The names of the winners for the Padma Awards 2023 have come in. Like every year, the President has approved the conferment of Padma Awards on the eve of Republic Day. Padma Awards 2023 are given in three categories. Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. The names of 106 Padma awardees have been announced this year. Which includes six Padma Vibhushan, 9 Padma Bhushan and 91 Padma Shri. Two and seven people from the category of Foreigner/NRI/PIO/OCI in the list will be given the award posthumously. The names of many stalwarts including SP patron Mulayam Singh Yadav are included in the list. However, there are 19 women in the list of Padma awardees this year. It also stars writers Suman Murthy, Sudha Kalyanam and actress Raveena Tandon. Let’s know the complete list of 19 women winners included for Padma Awards 2023.

Padma Bhushan
Singer Vani Jayaram from Tamil Nadu will be honored with the Padma Bhushan for her achievements in the field of arts.
Playback singer Suman Kalyanpur from Maharashtra will be given the Padma Award for her contribution in the field of arts.
Writer Sudha Murthy will be honored with the Padma Award for her special contribution to social service work.
