The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts rain for the next two hours in Delhi-NCR, which was struck by severe thunderstorms and torrential rainfall on March 30. In the nation’s capital, rain and thunderstorms battered Patel Nagar, Rajiv Chowk, Safdarjung, Lodhi Road, the President’s House, India Gate, Delhi Cantonment, Budha Jayanti Park, and other locations. Several regions of Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad also experienced rain and thunderstorms.
According to the IMD’s 5:10 PM weather forecast, thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall are expected to persist over Delhi-NCR for the next two hours.
Meham, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhail, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Kosali, Mahendargarh, Sohana, Rewari, Palwal, Bawal, Nuh, Aurangabad, and Hodal in Haryana, and Bhiwari and Tizara in Rajasthan, may also experience thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rain.
Rain showers of light to moderate intensity are also possible over and adjacent to Hansi, Sonipat, Tosham, Kharkhoda, and Loharu in Haryana, and Bagpat, Khekra, Jattari, Khair, Nandgaon, Iglas, Barsana, Raya, Hathras, Mathura, and Sadabad in Uttar Pradesh.
