Rahul Gandhi at London event: ‘At the heart of BJP’s ideology is cowardice’

Rahul Gandhi, during an interaction with the Indian diaspora in London, launched a scathing attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that “at the heart of their ideology is cowardice”,

During an interaction with the Indian diaspora Rahul Gandhi at London event, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi lashed out at the governing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that “at the core of their ideology is cowardice,” citing External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s comments on China.
Rahul said, “They adhere to an ideology of hatred, violence, and disdain that attacks individuals for their beliefs. Surely you have observed one thing. This is characteristic of the BJP and RSS.

If you have observed a statement made by the foreign minister, he stated that China is significantly more potent than us. How can I engage in conflict with them? Cowardice is at the core of the ideology. Savarkar wrote in his book that he and his companions once thrashed a Muslim man and felt ecstatic that day. Therefore, if five people beat up a man and one person is happy, this is nothing but cowardice. If you wish to engage in combat, do so single-handedly.”

“This is part of their ideology, and their foreign minister has stated it. You envision him saying that China is stronger than us, so we do not fight them. The British were more powerful than us, so we should not have engaged in combat with them. How would we have attained independence if we had followed the principles of the BJP and RSS? Cowardice is at the core of their ideology. That is the instruction for all of us “remarked Rahul.

Rahul stated that he had only gotten improved, “More they assault me, the better for me it is. The greater my comprehension, the more I learn. This is a battle between bravery and treachery. It is a struggle between respect and disdain. It is a battle between enmity and love “Reiterating what he stated during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi stated that he has come to open the “Mohabbat Market” (spread love in the atmosphere of hatred).

Rahul Gandhi highlighted his learning experience during the yatra “What I found most intriguing was what the people of India were saying. Unemployment, costs, wealth concentration, and Mr. Adani. There is no coverage in the media. We see wrath, hatred, and violence in the media. Then we observe Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan, and cricket. However, we are unaware of the actual issues facing the Indian populace.”

We trekked nearly 4,000 kilometres. It required a tremendous amount of effort. During the first five or six days of the yatra, I began to question my role. Whoever arrived on the yatra, regardless of whether they were wealthy, poor, young, old, male, or female, my role was to make them feel like they had returned home when they came to speak to us.

I told my coworkers, “Listen, we must respect every single individual who comes, and he must feel as though he has come home, and when he leaves, he must feel as though he has left home.” We do not desire a political relationship with him, but rather an emotional and familial one “the leader of Congress added.
